What I was trying to do:
I was trying to do shading in the Pokemon art style, for my brother, who is a big Lucario fan. As with the Leafeon, we used a standard Pokemon image on the laser cutter so I could get something to paint.
What worked:
I think it looks similar to the Pokemon art style. I also think the colors look really nice.
What didn’t work:
The colors got a bit muddy and too dark in some places.
What I learned:
I learned a lot about the Pokemon style and doing various studies before I apply paint.
